My reflection on the writing class this semester.

The writing classes this semester was more interesting than previous one. We had many different themes not only to write about but to discuss during the writing classes. Also I like the way of  homework assignments, that we could write our essays at home and send them right away. It is good method because lecturer could easily check our homework and give some advices. Overall, this semester writing classes were interesting and useful.

Film review

"Shutter Island" is a film directed by Martin Scorsese.Federal marshal Teddy Daniels and his new partner Chuck Aule go to Shutter Island to investigate the disappearance of a patient, Rachel Solando, who has escaped from the hospital.Visiting Rachel's cell, Teddy and Chuck discover a code that he believes points to a sixty-seventh patient, when there are allegedly only sixty-six. Teddy also reveals to Chuck that he is there to avenge the death of his wife Dolores, who was murdered by Andrew Laeddis a crazed arsonist. After storm in Shutter Island Teddy decides to investigate Ward C, where he tries to find Leaddis. Afeter that Teddy discovers an ex-psychiatrist, who says she is the real Rachel Solando.She explains about secret experiments in the island and warns Teddy to be careful because food, medication, even cigarettes he has taken have been laced with psychotropic drugs. After that Teddy makes his way to the lighthouse to reveal the truth about shutter island where he believes the experiments take place. When Teddy reaches the top of the lighthouse he finds only hospital administrator Dr. Cawley seated at a desk. Cawley tells Teddy that he is Andrew Laeddis and that he is a sixty-seventh patient and that he murdered his wife, two years ago after she murdered their three children. If you want mystery, thriller and suspense in one, then this film is definitely for you.

Recently, I read an article about arrests of seven hackers from US, UK and Republic of Ireland who have been charged with crimes realted to computer attacks. Hackers made cyber attacks against the media groups Sony Pictures Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company and the Public Broadcasting Service, US Senate, the cyber security firm Unveillance, Visa, Mastercard and Paypal. The FBI said that Lulzsec's "leader" Hector Xavier  faced a maximum sentence of more than 124 years in prison if found guilty of all counts. Well It‘s a very interesting article, it is hard to believe that such a small gruop of people can make so much chaos.

Emigration

Emigration is the common problem in our modern world. Lately, it became more intensive during the financial crisis. Many young and talented people tend to leave their home country for many different reasons such as political, economical problems and bad living conditions.

First of all, people emigrates from their home country because of the political system. Those who believe that they are not given enough political freedom choose to find it elsewhere. Some get a new citizenship in order to have a better living atmosphere, free from political chaos. Also people forced to leave their homeland because of racial or religious abuse. An example for that is The Holocaust, during The World War 2 many Jewish people lost their political rights and were forced to leave Germany and its occupied territories.

Secondly, another cause of emigration is unemployment and low wages. Young specialists and workers leave their country for a better career opportunities abraod. Also, people emigrates because of the lack of jobs in their region or country. Also in wealthy countries people work in better conditions and they get a four time higher wages doing the same job. Another aspect is travelling, in addition to work people can explore foreign country, learn it language and get better wiev on history and traditions.

Finally, many people are forced to leave their homeland, because of the bad living conditions. In some African countries people leave their fatherland because of the famine and water shortage, caused by natural disasters such as as droughts, floods and earth quakes. Furthermore there are many man made disasters such as nuclear meltdown or heavy pollution. An example for that is Chernobyl and Fukushima disasters which forced many people to live their homes.

In conclusion, I want to say that emigration is caused by many different reasons, such as financial problems, bad living conditions, and government restrictions. But many people do not understand that emigration is harmful for their country and people who live in it.

Recipe for a successful relationship between a man and a woman.

Well I think that recipe for a successful relationship between a man and a woman should contain affection, loyalty and harmony. Without affection there wouldn't be any successful relationship, there should be love and passion. Another ingredient is loyalty  only then a man and a woman will go through thick and thin. And the last ingredient is harmony, there should be no conflicts between both man and women.

Mixed marriages is it possible ?

Mixed marriages are becoming more common nowadays. People with different religions, nationalities and languages now make families. Although we live in democratic society but many people are still disapprove mixed marriages. Mixed families have a lot of difficulties dealing with society sometimes even with their relatives who does not approve mixed marriages, also the children have to adapt in a different society.

First of all, I want to say that mixed marriages have some advantages. People from mixed marriage can get better view on different traditions and religions. And it is not the same as going on a tour trip to visit historical monuments or take part in foreign cultural events. Only in mixed family people will became a part of a different culture.  Furthermore spouses will be able to learn new languages from each other and their children will learn two or even more languages.

Secondly, there is a lot of problems between society and mixed family. Many people are still condemn mixed marriages. Usually people think that others marry foreigners for money or better life. Others blame couples because they are betraying their traditions and religion. In some Islamic countries it is a very big sin to marry a foreigner with different religion.  And if someone would do that he would lose support not only from society but also and from family.

In addition, there is a lot of problems in mixed families.  Sometimes people from different cultures don‘t know how  to behave in specific situations like rites or other ceremonies. Also there is many concerns about children education in family, for example parents with different religions can‘t decide which religion give to their child. Moreover it will be hard to understand your spouse relatives as they will speak in different language.

In conclusion, there is a lot of problems that mixed marriages encounter nowadays. I think people should be more tolerant to the others who are trying to make mixed marriage. And families shouldn‘t judge newly weds. Also mixed marriages have unique advantages that the normal marriages don‘t have. And if man and women really love each other, then they will manage to go trough thick and thin.
